Lauren continues to do well. She is up to 4 lbs 1 oz, and is doing better maintaining her temperature. The neonatologists believe her apnea is being caused by reflux. Yesterday they slowed her feedings to occur over the course of an hour to allow more time for digestion. This seems to be working - she did not have any episodes last night.
Madeline is tolerating her feedings well. She should be up to full feeds and off her IV nutrition in the next couple days. She regained her birth weight and weighs in at 3 lbs 12 oz. Based on their progress, the neonatologist said they would probably be coming home in about 5 weeks - should be right around Thanksgiving!

That is great news...I am so happy to hear the girls are gaining weight! Parker's apena was also caused by reflux...I hope she will not throw up like he did. However, it all passes with a bit of age...now it is not a problem at all for Parker.
