Tonight we had a packed evening. Because we are at my parents on Christmas Eve, tonight we watched The Nativity Story, talked about Jesus, made cookies for Santa and also wrapped a present for Santa. We started a new tradition in our family that everyone picks out one toy that they would like to give to Santa to pass on to another child that doesn't have any presents. Conner loved being "Santa's Helper" and picked out two books to wrap up for another child. Courtney wanted to give away Conner's Buzz Lightyear, but that didn't go over so well. We'll have to have her choose something else. What can I say- she's very generous with other people's things!
Merry Christmas!

What a great tradition of having them give a gift to Santa. You are teaching your children great things. Have a wonderful Christmas!
No way! We decided to do the same thing this year! But we let them go to the dollar store and each pick out one gift. At first they thought the toys were for them. Ha Ha!
