Busy Weekend....

We had a busy, but great weekend....Here are some highlights...

(Happy (Early) Birthday to Grandpa Tom! We had a great time at dinner with Carey's parents...ate way too much (if you haven't tried Kettle Honey Mustard Chips, you haven't lived), and had lots of fun!)
(I found Courtney watching TV like this....All of a sudden she has opinions about what she wants to wear...My sunglasses are at the top of the list)

(We went to the Mercy NICU Graduate Reunion on Saturday morning. It was great to go and see our doctors and at least one nurse that we had. )

(This Dr. Getman with the twins. She was the neonatologist that was there when the twins were born, and most importantly, she is the reason that Madeline is with us today. Madeline was born not breathing and, to put it lightly, in very bad shape. It is because of Dr. Getman that we have Madeline with us today. We will always be grateful to her. )
(Courtney, of course, got her face painted!)

(Conner was pretty proud of his space ship...although, it all came off when he started crying when we didn't go to the park after all this. In my defense, it was REALLY hot and we had had a LONG day. :)

(Sunday morning we took the kids bikes out for a spin. Courtney did really well...she did fall a couple times, but in true Courtney fashion, she dusted herself off and continued to ride. She's a tough and determined little girl)
(Conner is our little speedster. He goes so fast on his new bike and handles it really well.)

You are such a mean Mom, I can't even believe that you did not take the kids to the park. I love how proud the kids look standing in front of their bikes.

I'm glad you saw someone you knew at the Reunion. Ours was so uneventful. There was one nurse there, and that was total, not just nurses who we had.

What a miracle that Madeline is okay after she was born - I bet it was wonderful seeing the Doctor who helped her so much.
