We have been so close to this post for a while now, but today it is official. Conner swam the length of the pool at the gym (the big water aerobics one) a few times, jumped into the deep end and swam to me (in the middle of the pool), and mastered floating and all those other drills they teach you in swim school. Somehow, it just all came together, and now he just loves swimming.
Way to go, Conner!
(Ironically, before we went to the gym to practice, Conner was a swim party wearing a life jacket because we were not totally sure he would be ok in the deep end. No worries now!)
